Talking about your worst days is hard. But in a mental health evaluation, you must be honest about your worst days, not your "average" days.
If you tell the doctor "I'm doing okay," they will write "doing okay" and rate you 0% or 10%. We guide our veterans on how to honestly articulate their occupational and social impairment so the doctor understands the true impact of PTSD or depression on their livelihood.
