When included in the written scope, TYFYS organizes the records the veteran provides and identifies evidence questions for review. This is not a completeness certification, medical diagnosis, legal opinion, or prediction of what VA will decide.
When provider coordination is included and a qualified private physician accepts the case, that provider determines the examination format and whether a Disability Benefits Questionnaire is appropriate. Availability depends on the condition, location, and provider.
When coordination is included and a qualified provider accepts the case, that provider independently decides whether a medical opinion is supportable and what rationale it should contain. No opinion, wording, or VA outcome is guaranteed.
The applicable fee and included work must be stated in writing before work begins. TYFYS does not take a percentage of VA backpay. A quote should identify the exact records, conditions, deliverables, provider-coordination terms, and exclusions rather than imply that every service is included.
